We’ve been doing our research and have found some interesting statistics.
Ready? The life expectancy of magnetic tape (those VHS tapes from the 70’s and 80's that are in a box somewhere in your attic, basement or storage area.... well you know what we mean...) will last, and we quote “under ideal storage conditions, no more than 20 years. So let’s do the math. It’s 2011. Those tapes were shot, let’s say... for the sake of argument...1985. If our math is right, that’s 26 years. But and this is a BIG but (no pun intended), the key phrase is “under ideal storage conditions”. Now let’s be honest, have yours been stored in “ideal conditions")? We’re guessing the answer is no. Agree? Disagree? So here’s what we’re thinking... Contact Us ASAP and we’ll get you going on getting those tapes transferred to DVD or whatever format you want! Those memories are fading away and we can help you bring them back! Hurry... Would make a great family gift! Don’t you think?
